At Art By
Kojo, our approach is through the impasto technique, using
the palette knife. It's very versatile and different. Oil on canvas
is a also major area that we explore and that our customers love.
This technique enhances the effect we want to show, because we use
the knife to show layers of color in the Expressionist
style. We also create art using chalk pastels, dry medium which
gives more of a powdery look rather than paint. |
Our style is
African mostly, but it has a universal concept. We try to convey a
message in every painting or piece we do that can please everyone.
We paint people, men, women, children, and babies of all ages. We
enjoy working on African pieces to give children a positive outlook
to form better communications with one another, sharing, having fun
with each other, and even daily chores. Adults can see a different
side of life through our paintings as well.

We paint a variety of sizes from small to very large. You can
purchase framed and unframed art on heavy-duty canvas, which
normally has about a depth of 2 inches. We can do custom pieces
(including murals) as well using your photos, pictures, portraits,
and ideas and we will use our own vision to bring the painting to
life. You can request a color scheme that is cohesive to your decor
if you wish. We can even come to your home, and we can fashion the
